As tongue-in-cheek as this article title intended to be \u2014 there is something to this biblical concept of \u2018ascension\u2019 but it may not be what you think.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou do not need to \u2018find\u2019 yourself because you were and are never lost. You need to rediscover who you are because you have forgotten\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
To Be or Not To Be\u2026What Was the Question?<\/p>\n
Who am I? \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n If this has been your question, then I would like to officially welcome you to the human race.<\/p>\n What needs to be clarified is that you know who you are.\u00a0 You are the \u2018I Am that I Am\u2019.\u00a0 This is not just some new flavour caption or the latest (or possibly, oldest) spiritual declaration of the times. This is a statement that holds no ego, no space and no time.\u00a0 This is your true identity.\u00a0 When you question your identity, you believe that you are less than what you are.\u00a0 You are never this \u2014 you are only stuck in the illusion or the dream that you are lacking in some way or another.<\/p>\n Your Personal Spiritual Path<\/strong><\/p>\n Now to find true meaning behind the saying is\u00a0your<\/em>\u00a0spiritual path.\u00a0 To say the words with no meaning or context is useless and is as effective as saying any prayer or affirmation like a parrot and not\u00a0feeling<\/em>\u00a0the words being said.<\/p>\n We so often miss this vital point \u2014\u00a0feeling<\/em>.\u00a0Your work is to give juice to this phrase, I Am.<\/p>\n You do not need to \u2018find\u2019 yourself because you were and are never lost.\u00a0 You need to rediscover who you are because you have forgotten \u2013 that\u2019s all.\u00a0 How you get to this point is entirely up to you. \u00a0Every soul takes a unique path to their spiritual awakening and this can be fun and daunting at the same time.\u00a0 Now, this brings me to ascension \u2013 the latest hot topic.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t Be Fooled by the\u00a0Rapture<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n They do seem like rather strange questions, don\u2019t they? But believe it or not, they are being asked. We are looking outside ourselves for answers and we want them fast.<\/p>\n Some were even led to believe that the 21st December 2012 was going to be\u00a0\u2018the date\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n Now here\u2019s how I understand this cosmic rapturing conundrum\u2026<\/p>\n Could Love Be Key to the Ascension?<\/strong><\/p>\n Ascension could just be a state of elevating yourself into a different level of consciousness and, in my humble opinion, is not a physical event. \u00a0This is a lateral and not a literal experience.<\/p>\n What has love got to do with it?<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Let\u2019s examine the question \u2014 that\u00a0Tina Turner<\/a>\u00a0has been asking for decades \u2014 more closely.<\/p>\n Firstly, fear is the catalyst for being in an eternal karma drama.\u00a0 I say eternal because many believe that if you don\u2019t break the pattern of fear it will lead to the inevitable cycle of karma \u2013 cause and effect, loop of loops.\u00a0 You will be doing it again if you don\u2019t learn this time around\u2026etcetera etcetera.<\/p>\n I don\u2019t see this as some form of punishment \u2014 I think our \u2018higher selves\u2019 are the commanding officers and the only entity responsible for dishing out any kind of judgement will be YOU. I believe that every one of us is an immortal and divine spiritual being having a rather fleshy physical experience. Overcome the illusion of fear and your world will change.<\/p>\n Love is the reality \u2014 love may be the very thing that will nullify all our fears. Let\u2019s see if Ms. Turner can be persuaded to agree?<\/p>\n So your job is to examine fear, pick it apart, understand it and then pop that fricking illusion! I believe we are God-sovereign beings who are capable of anything!<\/p>\n Trust Your Gut Instinct<\/strong><\/p>\n Your discernment is the key factor in outing your darkness.\u00a0 Only you know what cobwebs are lurking in the deep caverns of your soul \u2014 only you can dust those corners and expose them to the light.<\/p>\n If some fears need facing head on, then do it!\u00a0 If some need therapy, then do it!\u00a0 If some need deep reflection and meditation, then do it!\u00a0 No more excuses.\u00a0 If you are making excuses, for whatever reasons you have, be very sure that you are fully aware that your excuses ARE your choices.<\/p>\n \u201cNo-one else is responsible for you.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n If you choose to excuse yourself from your lessons then I expect you\u2019ll be in for another round on the wheel of karma \u00a0\u2013 your choice.\u00a0 Some people take longer to pull finger than others \u2013 this applies to lifetimes too, you know.\u00a0 So, maybe it\u2019s appropriate that some will sit this round out and not achieve full enlightenment in this lifetime, there will be other lifetimes to slug it out \u2013 again, your choice.\u00a0 If you are a go-getter, then why not make it this lifetime?<\/p>\n As\u00a0Yoda<\/a>\u00a0said,\u00a0\u2018Do or do not \u2013 there is no try\u2019.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 But the bottom line to this bollocking is that you must be responsible for your choices.\u00a0 No-one else is responsible for you.\u00a0 If this is your mindset you are in for a rude awakening!\u00a0 No pun intended.<\/p>\n I Am that I Am<\/strong><\/p>\n Now let\u2019s get back to ascension. Ascension, to me, is embodying your experience here on earth by:<\/p>\n There is a peace that comes with this acceptance.\u00a0 If you are fighting what is, conflict will be your life. Accept what is and watch how life just flows like it should \u2014 when you trust in the universe\/quantum field\/God (which I believe is you \u2014 for those who think this is blasphemy, go ahead, but your divine anyway), things will fit into place effortlessly and magically.<\/p>\n If you do feel this then when you are faced with a fear based situation, be the calm presence. How do you want to see this situation turn out? Then focus on that (solution focusing instead of problem focusing) and truly feel into the solution \u2014 see it play out in your third eye and know it is so!<\/p>\n Even if this situation means death \u2013 all you have to do is state the I AM THAT I AM.\u00a0 If you die in fear you may very well generate a lesson that you will have to walk through again\u2026yup, the good \u2018ol karma drama.<\/p>\n If you die stating and knowing in your heart that you ARE the divine, then you have accepted mastery. \u00a0You are in dharma or nirvana.\u00a0 There simply is no \u2018ceasing to exist\u2019 \u2014 even if you do leave your body behind.\u00a0 If you ascend with or without your body \u2014state the I AM THAT I AM.<\/p>\n Your only job is to make sure you know what you are stating and that it is felt in your heart.
