Upon waking<\/h3>\n<p>As soon as you wake up, even before crawling out of bed, you can take a moment to give thanks for a few things you appreciate in life.\u00a0\u00a0Perhaps say a quick thanks for a good night\u2019s sleep, a thank you for the new day before you, and thanks for your health.<\/p>\n<p>Gratitude early in the morning gets your vibration up and running on a high\u00a0level as you begin your day.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Before mealtimes<\/h3>\n<p>Many people pray before breakfast, lunch and dinner, and this is a wonderful way to give thanks daily.\u00a0\u00a0Even if you are not the religious type, taking a moment to appreciate the food before you is something\u00a0<em>anyone<\/em>\u00a0can do several times a day.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Use a gratitude journal<\/h3>\n<p>A journal can be a great place to give thanks daily.\u00a0\u00a0The nice thing about a journal is that as you add to it, you compile evidence of all of the blessings in your life.<\/p>\n<p>As an added benefit, you can also always pull out your gratitude journal at any time you need an emotional boost. \u00a0This can be helpful in stressful or upsetting times.<\/p>\n<h3>4. In meditation<\/h3>\n<p>For those who practice daily meditation, gratitude can become part of this routine.\u00a0\u00a0Toward the end of your mediation, when you are fully relaxed and present, focus your mind on appreciating something currently happening in your life.\u00a0\u00a0Then, feel thanks\u00a0as you breathe it in and out of your heart chakra (the center of your chest).<\/p>\n<h3>5.
