Woody Harrelson might be best recognized for starring in box office hits such as \u2018Zombieland\u2019 and \u2018The Hunger Games\u2019, but he\u2019s also a celebrated activist who, in the past, has promoted a plethora of issues that demand attention such as environmental responsibility, plant-based eating, and corruption in the government.<\/p>\n

In fact, not only did Harrelson introduce a non-wood, tree-free paper to the market, he hosted Ethos, a powerful documentary aimed at encouraging the public to engage in ethical consumerism, in 2014.<\/p>\n

Discussing his accomplishments and convictions, he told The Guardian:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe live in a completely corrupted world where every government is just a bunch of businessmen working for a bunch of bigger businessmen and none of them give a shit about the people. The sad fact is no one knows how to change it, because no one knows how to take on the corporations. So I guess we\u2019re stuck with this system until the oil runs out.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, in less than two minutes, Woody is again speaking out about corruption within the system and asks the public to take responsibility for their choices and actions in this world.<\/p>\n

RealFarmacy relays that the actor explains how every individual has the ability to utilize their power and support the type of world they want to live in. Corporations may own the government, which in turn affect mainstream media and the kind of propaganda the public is exposed to, but consumers vote with their dollar and have real power to enact change \u2013 if they so choose to.<\/p>\n
